We want to thank the people whose recipes are here, not just for the food, but also for being such interesting, thoughtful, cool people. Our original plan for this magazine was to simply have it be a reflection of the people who worked on the magazine. Corresponding with our regulars in Birmingham, hearing their stories, seeing their lives, made us realize that in our customers we had so much more of a tale to tell than just our own. Birmingham opened our eyes to what this magazine could be, and for that we will be forever grateful.
