Fiscal Responsibility

Marinated Filet Mignon

Marinated Filet Mignon

 

1 1/2 Cups vegetable oil
1/4 Cup regular or mushroom soy sauce
1 TB granulated garlic powder
1/2-3/4 tsp. powdered ginger
4-6 steaks (we used 8 oz. filets)

Whisk the marinade ingredients together in a 9x13 glass baking dish or pour the marinade into a zip-top bag. Add the steaks and coat with marinade on all sides. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Grill or pan sear the steaks, about 6 minutes per side.

Prep. time: 5 minutes
Marinating time: 1 hour
Cooking time: 12 minutes
Serves: 4-6
